Investing in the missing middle.
"The Missing Middle is commonly defined as the gap in capital, which is larger than microfinance, yet smaller than traditional institutional financing like (commercial) banks in developing countries and emerging markets." This most commonly effects successful entrepreneurs and fast growth SMEs (Small and Medium Sized Enterprises) the very businesses that are critical to sustainable economic growth.

Burundi
Burundi is a small, landlocked country in east-central Africa, known affectionately as the heart of Africa. It borders Rwanda, the DRC, and Tanzania. The average age in Burundi is 17, with over three quarters of the population living rurally.
The country struggles with high unemployment rates and poor resource management due to economic instability, the repercussion of a recent history of internal conflict. Yet God is always at work, using his body to bring transformation in all spheres of society. At Jabuka Investments, we feel called to equip and empower the work of local SME businesses.
